RESOLVED unanimously by Subcouncil 2 that

That the following Subcouncil Delegations Part 25. 4(1), 4(2) and 7(2) which, due to time constraints cannot be submitted to one of the scheduled Subcouncil meetings for consideration,, be sub delegated to the Subcouncil Manager or Acting Subcouncil Manager, in consultation with the Chairperson and the relevant Ward Councillor, and that the Subcouncil Manager be authorised to deal with and finalise such matter.

Part 25.4(2) – to approve, refuse or amend application for extension of trading days and hours on premises where liquor licences have been granted in terms of section 6(2) of the By-Law: Control of Undertakings that Sell Liquor to the public, 2013;
Part 25.7(2) – to grant permission for the use of public open spaces squares and similar places within the Subcouncil’s areas of jurisdiction, for any local events.

A report be submitted to the ensuing meeting of the Subcouncil to report on exercising of such sub-delegation.
Quarterly reports be submitting to the Office of the Speaker as well as the Corporate Services Portfolio Committees in terms of the sub-delegations exercised during the period of reporting.
