Resolution detail

RESOLVED that having considered the City of Cape Town Traffic Calming Policy
and the recommendation from Transport Planning & Network Management
Department;


a) Park Road is a Class 5 Local Street located within a medium-density residential area of Woodstock.
b) Our assessment indicated that there are no public amenities located along Park Road to attract vulnerable or high concentrations of pedestrian activity across the study roadway.
c) Therefore, the potential for pedestrian/vehicle conflict along Park Road can be considered low in the vicinity and non-compliant with Section 7(1) of the Traffic Calming Policy.
d) Traffic calming measures CANNOT currently be recommended along Park Road, Woodstock.
