Subcouncil 21 supports the recommendation that :
ERVEN 1-41, 43-95, 97-151, 153-342, 344-361, 363-364, 366-374, 377, 379, 380-394, 395, 396-417, 432, 434, 435, 438-449, 451-454, 456-485, portion of erf 1197 and portion public place erf 1991 MACASSAR, excluding erven 13-16, 42, 96, 152, 340, 343, 359, 362, 365, 375, 376, 378, 380, 395, 415, 416, 432, 433, 436, 437, 450 & 455 MACASSAR, situated at 8 boundary road Gordon`s Bay, in extent 84,9 hectares, and as indicated as ABCDEFGHJKLMNPQRSTUVWXYZ A1B1C1D1E1F 1G1H1J 1K1L 1M1N1P1Q1R1S1T 1U1V1W1H1X1 on plan 130010348 attached as annexure “a”, be reserved for the environmental management department, subject to the following conditions:

The subject property shall be utilized for Biodiversity Management purpose area gazette as protected area and holistically managed as part of the Macassar East Conservation Area; PTMS071 reservation report_v16 Page 4 of 10;

The Environmental Management department takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with any related legislation;
-
The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the land and any structure to be erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable;

That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Environmental Management department;
