The subcouncil chairperson asked the official to take the meeting through the report. Mr. Mgquba tabled the report and asked councilors if they have questions of clarity they can raise them. Cllr Moses said that he received the application and would like the report to be deferred to the next subcouncil meeting as he will visit the site as in the report it states Gugulethu whereas the site is in Luyoloville and give comments. Cllr Nikelo said that the report states that the matter is in progress and at a stage where they have to write a report to Council, and hope that Cllr Moses will be able to comment before it goes to Council. He said that he would like the department should send a draft report before submitting the report to Council. Mr. Mgquba said that the closing date for comments is in August. There was unanimous agreement with the resolution to defer the report for ward councilor to investigate and report back in the next sub council meeting. RESOLVED That the report on Notice to subcouncil 14 and Citizen interface proposed sale by way of public competitive process of city-owned undeveloped property being ERF 8872, Guguletu (unregistered portion of remainder ERF 8799, Guguletu) situated at 5 Funda Close, Guguletu and zoned single residential 2: incremental housing BE DEFERRED . .
