Resolution detail

It was RESOLVED that the application for renewal of extension of liquor trading hours (off-consumption Monday to Saturday, 18:00 – 20:00) in respect of Sunrise Circle Tops, Unit G5, Sunrise Circle, Ndabeni BE REFUSED for the following reason(s):
 

1. The industrial business park closes at the end of office therefore it would be desirable for the business to close at the same time;
2. The business premises is located 290 meters away from the South Point Church;
3. The business premises is located, albeit more than 500m, from Oude Molen High School, Pinelands North Primary and the TSIBA College;
4. The business premises is located in close proximity to a small informal settlement;
5. The lack activity and safety at this area will impair road users and pedestrians who need to move through the area, as there is no passive surveillance from any residential or active businesses outside of the business hours.
