It is recommended that the portions of Erven 28079-RE, 1212-RE, 1215-RE and 45036 Mitchells Plain, situated at Spine Road and Baden Powell Drive, Strandfontein in extent approximately 15.73 ha and as indicated by the figures lettered as ABCDE, FGHVWX, M1L1K1J1H1G1F1E1D1J, HM1JD1KLMNPQRSTUV and B1A1UTSC1 respectively on the attached Plan 130010336v2 marked as Annexure A, be reserved for the Spatial Planning and Environment Directorate (Environment Management Department), subject to inter alia the following conditions, that:

The subject property shall be reserved for conservation purposes only;

The Spatial Planning and Environment Directorate (Environmental Management Department) takes responsibility for any land use processes, permits, applications or permissions which may be prescribed as a result of the reservation, as well as compliance with any related legislation in respect of the subject property;

The Spatial Panning and Environment Directorate (Environmental Management Department) accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the land, any current structures and any structures to be erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable;

The Spatial Planning and Environment Directorate (Environmental Management Department) takes cognizance of and adheres to the conditions required by the service branches in paragraph 9 below;

That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Spatial Planning and Environmental Directorate (Environmental Management Department).
