Resolution detail

RESOLVED that it BE NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from EDCOWARE was considered in terms of sub delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:


Subcouncil 16 recommends that the application for a Consumption ON Premises Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA24030015, for the business EDCOWARE at 150 LONGMARKET CAPE TOWN CITY CENTRE BE SUPPORTED WITH CONDITIONS:


Subject to the applicant complying with all the requirements of the Emergency Services:
1. Approved Municipal Building plans required.
2. Obstruction of or rendering component escape of escape route less effective, non-approved locking device fitted to access of escape door
3. Failure to place required SANS 1186 approved signage throughout an escape
route and above exits
4. Failure to provide and/or install required fire extinguishers occupancy certificate required.
5. Failure to comply with instruction to apply for temporary/permanent Population Certificate.
