RESOLVED that it BE NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from Shirleys was considered in terms of sub delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:
Subcouncil 16 recommends that the application for a Consumption ON Premises Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA24040016, for the business Shirleys at 196 MAIN SEA POINT BE SUPPORTED WITH CONDITIONS:
Subject to:
1. Alcohol only being served during the hours that food is available.
2. Closing time should be 00:00 since, this is a restaurant there is no need for a 02:00 licence.
3. No alcohol being served on tables outside on the roadside with the current permit and no later inclusion of this area in the footprint of the licence.
4. No entertainment or loud music other than background music being played.
5. The applicant obtaining an appropriate business license from the City of Cape Town.
6. The premises be accessible and available for inspection by City Health and
Emergency Services.
