RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND

That the lease of a portion of City land, being a portion of unregistered Erf 1483 Eversdale, situated at 21 Montaque Avenue, Stellenryk shown hatched and lettered ABCD, EFGH and JKLM on the sketch marked Annexure A, in extent approximately 6.55 m², to Rich Rewards Leasing (Pty) Ltd, NOT BE SUPPORTED for the reasons as reflected below:

Proposed location is on a POS in close proximity to play park equipment utilized by children posing a potential health risk
Proposed location is adjacent to a residential home with the high potential of noise nuisance emanating from cooling off fans as well as property values being affected
It is proposed that alternative sites be investigated such as a shopping centre or COCT water reservoir in close proximity.
