Resolution detail

The councillors enquired the following:

• how will the department be engaging with the community 
• will the department be able to attend the ward committee meetings to explain the content of the report
• will foreign residents be included to participate, especially those without documentation
• what is the time frame of the interview

• a team of well experienced officials will be visiting homes to interview residents, focussing on backyard dwellers
• the department will be able to attend ward committee meetings
• all residents will be interviewed and no names will be attached to the surveys, for confidentiality purposes
• the interview should be approximately 20 to 40 minutes
