RECOMMENDED TO RESOLVE:

1. That the Subcouncil NOTEcontent of the report regarding the Public Participation Process to Obtain Comments on Proposed Prescription of the Method of Notification in relation to Application in Terms of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law (MPBL).

1. That the report regarding the Public Participation Process to Obtain Comments on Proposed Prescription of the Method of Notification in relation to Application in Terms of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law (MPBL) BE DISTRIBUTED to Ward Committees and organisations listed on the Community Organisations Database for input or comment.

1.  That the Subcouncil SUBMIT comment on the report regarding the Public Participation Process to Obtain Comments on Proposed Prescription of the Method of Notification in relation to Application in Terms of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law (MPBL) for public comment, within the pre-scribed time frames and methods as advertised.

1. Recommendations or input to the municipality from 22 January to 22 February 2024.

1. That it BE NOTED the proposal is also available for viewing on www.capetown.gov.za/haveyoursay .

Comments may be submitted by: Email: lums@capetown.gov.za  Website: www.capetown.gov.za/haveyoursay  The City’s Public Participation Unit will assist people who cannot read or write, people living with disabilities and people from disadvantaged groups who are unable to submit comments, to have their comments recorded and submitted to the City.
