UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED

That the report relating to the public participation process inviting written comment on the proposed prescription of the method of notification in relation to applications ito the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law (MPBL) BE NOTED and the following comment be submitted on behalf of Subcouncil 7:

That the serving of notices via email be supported as proposed to be prescribed by the City Manager on page 3 of the report.
That where a notice refers to a property within a security or retirement complexes, the Home Owners Association be informed and requested to ensure that affected property owners are informed where those may not have access to emails.
That pamphlet drops to neighboring properties be considered where an email address is not available.
