Resolution detail

The Subcouncil Manager introduced the report which was for noting. The purpose of the report was to advise Subcouncil 14 of the manner in which Grants funding allocated in respect of the 2022/23 operational budget of Ward 40 is being utilized by the four (4) beneficiary organisations. The Chairperson, Cllr Nikelo, acknowledged that compliance has been met but was concerned about the quality of service provided by the beneficiary organisations. The process demands the organisations to be capacitated and have competency certificates for the services they are offering. He urged Cllrs to look at the capacity of organisations for future Grants in Aid proposals. Cllr Nikelo moved for the adoption of the report, seconded by Cllr Moses. There was unanimous agreement with the resolution. RESOLVED That the report on 2022/23 Ward Allocation (Ward 40): Grants-in-aid - Status Report for the Period: September 2023 BE NOTED with the comments made. . Action: ANTHONY DANIELS
