RESOLVED that:
It be recommended that a Portion of Erf 83274 Cape Town situated at 39 Uithofweg Street, Steenberg, in extent 495.48 m² and as indicated as ABCD on the Sketch Plan 130010036 attached as Annexure “A”, be reserved for the Environmental Management Department, subject to the following conditions:

The subject property shall be reserved and be used for the purpose of staff accommodation for the Department’s Manager at the nearby Ecological Restoration Facility and purposes ancillary thereto;

The Environmental Management Department takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with any related legislation;

The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the land and current structures on the land, and any structure to be erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable;

That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Environmental Management Department.
