Resolution detail

It is recommended that Erf 40301 Cape Town and a Portion of CA 609-61, indicated at ID 1 and 11 on Combined Plan marked Annexure “A”, be reserved for the Urban Mobility Directorate (Transport Infrastructure Implementation Department), subject to the following conditions:

a) The subject property shall be utilized to implement the Integrated Rapid Transport (IRT) phase 2A project by widening the road reserve to               accommodate the proposed new dedicated busway and median bus stops only;

b) The Transport Infrastructure Implementation Department takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with        any related legislation;

c) The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the land and any structure to be erected thereon,               including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable;

d) That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Transport Infrastructure Implementation Department.
