RESOLVED

It is recommended that Erf 75767 Cape Town situated at Malgas Street, Southfield, in extent 693 m² and as indicated as ABCD on the Sketch Plan 130010168 attached as Annexure “A”, be reserved for the Environmental Management Department, subject to the following conditions:

The subject property shall be used for the purpose of staff accommodation for the Department’s staff at the False Bay Nature Reserve, and other operational needs and purposes ancillary thereto;

The Environmental Management Department takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with any related legislation;

The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the land and any structure to be erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable;

That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Environmental Management Department.

That the item be supported subject to the information regarding the staff accommodation if they will be subjected to a lease agreement.
