Subcouncil 6 considered the application for the extension of liquor
trading hours submitted by LE REFERENCE –WCP 037411 as well as the
various comments/objections received, and resolved to REFUSE the application for extension of trading hours until 04:00, for the following reasons:
.

There is a number of student accommodation surrounding the establishment and the extension of the trading hours will have a negative influence;
The extension of trading hours would allow for students to walk late at night to the establishment;
There are continues complaints of the patrons parking on the sidewalk infront of the establishment and damaging the pavements;
The community is not in support of the application to extend the trading hours;
SAPS also indicated that they received a number of complaints iro this establishment.
