Resolution detail

RESOLVED that having considered the City of Cape Town Traffic Calming Policy and the recommendation from Transport Planning & Network Management Department;
 
a.     St Michaels Road is regarded as a direct route to school most scholars cross in between St Michaels Road in high numbers to gain access to various amenities such schools.
b.     This warrant traffic calming measures along St Michaels Road in line with the phase two programme of route to school.
Therefore we do believe that circumstances exist to justify the warranting of traffic calming measures in the two speed humps.
