18SUB8/5/2021: MOTION: CAVALLA DORP INFORMAL SETTLEMENT, STEENBERG ESTABLISHMENT OF A TEMPORARY RELOCATION AREA (TRA) WITH RE-BLOCKING AND SERVICING WITH ELECTRIFICATION (PROPOSED SITES ERVEN 81720 AND 81721)
 
A meeting to be arranged with the consultant, Ms Grace Magaya and the project manager regarding the Land Claim.

18SUB12/3/2022: SUBCOUNCIL 18 REQUEST: STATUS OF THE VAGRANT ISSUE AT GRASSY PARK LIBRARY, GRASSY PARK AS SUBMITTED BY SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
 
Feedback to be provided at the Subcouncil meeting in October 2023 but in the interim regular interventions are ongoing, as soon as Law Enforcement are gone the vagrants return. 
 
A meeting took place to address other challenges, follow up meeting will be arranged which will include other departments.
 
Ald S Rossouw stated that they need to encourage Law Enforcement to do regular operations as there is only one person remaining out of the fifteen. Law Enforcement need to continue with their operations until that one person moves on as well.
 
Chairperson stated emanating from the meeting it was advised that signage be erected around the facility this will allow Law Enforcement to act accordingly in terms of enforcing the Law.

18SUB26/11/2022: MOTION OF EXIGENCY: ESTABLISHMENT OF ZEEKOEVLEI CATCHMENT FORUM (DATED 17 NOVEMBER 2022)
 
Ongoing processes to continue before the establishment of the Zeekoevlei Forum, engagements with Abdulla Parker and Luqmaan Abdullah to continue.

18SUB15/5/2023: RECREATION & PARKS: STATUS REPORT ON OPERATIONAL CAPACITY OF SWIMMING POOLS AND SPRAY PARK – 2023/24 – RETREAT SWIMMING POOL
 
Updated feedback was sent to the ward Cllr. The department are currently busy with processes and waiting on purchase orders to commence work. 
 
All minor works will be carried out in the meanwhile; the heating and baby pool are long-term projects.
