It is recommended
That Sub council 09 considers the application for the extension of liquor trading
hours submitted by Boxer Superstore (Pty) Ltd and resolve, refuse or vary the
application for extension of liquor trading hours for Monday to Saturday from 18:00 – 20:00.
Sub council 09 recommends that the application for off-Consumption premises Liquor License, reference no: WCP044022 for the business Shop 11 & 12, Khayelitsha shopping Centre, Myataza Street, Khayelitsha BE SUPPORTED. |
Cllr Mpengezi (Ward 91 councillor) supported the application.
Cllr Maqungwana do not support the extension due to alcohol abuse by the community especially the new generation. Cllr to submit a proof that the community is benefiting from these organisations.
