RESOLVED that having considered the City of Cape Town Traffic Calming Policy and the recommendation from Transport Planning & Network Management Department;

The potential for pedestrian/vehicle conflict along Drommedaris Road is considered low and non-compliant with Section 7(3) of the Traffic Calming Policy.

All recorded crash data for a 9-year period indicate that no crashes have been recorded along the length of Drommedaris Road and;
-
Therefore calming measures cannot currently be considered along the length of Drommedaris Road.
