It was RESOLVED that the subcouncil NOTED the report: intent to proceed with application for exemption from the requirements of section 34(1) and 38(1-8) of the national heritage resources act (NHRA, act 25 of 1999) by requesting heritage western cape apply section 34(3) and 38(9) of the NHRA and place certain conservation-worthy properties on the heritage register (s30) to be protected through the city's heritage protection overlay zoning.
