Subcouncil 6 NOTED and SUPPORTED the report and recommended to the Director Property Management that the lease of City Land, being Erf being Erf 4910, Bellville, situated at 52 Avondale Road, Oakdale, Bellville shown on the aerial photograph marked Annexure A to the report, in extent approximately 496 m², to Mrs Cheryl Abrahams, BE APPROVED subject to inter alia the following conditions, that:
a) A market rental of R10 200.00 per month, inclusive of rates and exclusive
of VAT be payable with effect from 1 April 2023;
 
b) The rental will escalate at 6% per annum;
 
c) The lease will endure for a period of three years;
 
d) The property be used for residential purposes only;
 
e) Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property
Management in terms of his delegated authority;
 
f) Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;
 
g) No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the
property;
 
h) The lessee is to ensure that the necessary land use permissions, if
applicable, are in place for the duration of the lease period.
