The Subcouncil Chairperson introduced the report on Amended of sectors and
amendment of seats allocations of ward committees in Subcouncil 14 and asked
Mr Daniels to take the meeting through the report.
Mr Daniels said that the report deals with the amendments in the composition of
Ward Committees in Subcouncil 14. In ward 40 the seats remain unchanged
because there were numerous requests to the councillor. A report serve in the next
Subcouncil meeting.
Cllr Nikelo said that when a councillor is not doing his job the matter should be
escalated to him, as he will get hold of the Councillor together with the relevant
whip. He said that it is not accepted that we have wards that are non-complaint.
He further asked if there is still time for Cllr Ngcombolo to submit the sectors and
seats.
Mr Daniels said that the submission could be done in the next Subcouncil meeting.
Mr Daniels said that the current compassion is non-complaint and it is the
resolution of the subcouncil meeting.
Cllr Ngcombolo said he will submit the sectors and seats before the end of the
week.
Cllr Nikelo said that he will wait for the email and asked Cllr Nqavashe to also
check the submission and follow up with Cllr Ngcombolo.
Cllr Moses accepted the seats for ward 44.
Cllr Cassiem said that he would like the Civic Based Organization seats to be
amended from 5 to 4 and would have 8 seats in ward 46.
Mr Daniels said in Ward 49 the safety and security had 1 seat and now the
councillor added another 1 and the removal of the business sector and the
removal of 1 seat under Designated Vulnerable groups.
Cllr Nqavashe said that as constituted we should not hold meetings for Ward 40 as
they do not comply. Cllr Nikelo agreed with this.Cllr Adams said that he has been writing his minutes for the past 2 years and he
asked with the official to record the minutes in their home language, and send it to
translations. He also mentioned that this was brought to Mr Daniels attention and
he is not in the position of doing the minutes again.
Cllr Nikelo said that he would like the Mr Daniels to check the matter with the
administration and if the member need assistance, it should be arranged, as it is
not acceptable.
Cllr Moses moved for the adoption of the recommendation, seconded by cllr
Nqavashe.
There were unanimous resolution with the agreement.

ward committees in Subcouncil 14 BE NOTED with comments made by
Councilors.
