the application for extension of liquor trading hours from 18:00 to 20:00, for off-consumption Monday to Saturday, in respect of Ivan Wayne Liquor Store BE REFUSED for the following reason(s), based on the comment received from the City’s Town Development Management Department:
The application for temporary land use departure granted to the applicant on 30 July 2018 was only valid for 3 years and lapsed on 30 July 2021. No new application has been submitted..

The applicant be informed that considering the existing operation of a liquor outlet without valid land use approvals is deemed unlawful and is subject to an application for determination of an administrative penalty in terms of Section 42(r) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, as amended;

The applicant be informed of the right to appeal the outcome of the application.
