Resolution detail

RESOLVED that the application received from Christopher David Godenir t/a The Peninsula All Suite Hotel for a business licence for Health and Entertainment: Cinema and Theatre, on erf 1202, 313 Beach Road, Sea Point 8005, BE GRANTED subject to the following standard endorsements for this category of licence:
 

1. This business licence must be displayed prominently in a conspicuous place in or on the premises so as to be visible to patrons, the public and Council officials at all times.

 

2. This business licence is not transferable from person to person or from business to business.

            

3. The premises must comply with the requirements of the Tobacco Products  Control Act, Act 83 of 1993, at all times.

 

4. The Director: City Health reserves the right to call for any other requirements that requirements that may be deemed necessary.

 

5. The approval of this licence does not exempt the holder from compliance with any other licences, conditions or statutory requirements..

 

6. The premises must comply with the requirements of the Western Cape Noise

           Control Regulations, P.N. 200 of 2013, at all times.
 

7. The premises must comply with the fire requirements at all times.

 

8. Amplified sound outdoors during the night-time is prohibited.

 

1. Live band performances at Strolla bar and breakfast bar are prohibited.

 

10. Amplified sound outdoors of the Society Room is prohibited.

 

11. Amplified sound as measured from the pool deck and terrace must not exceed 87.8dBA.

 
 

• Amplified sound as measured from any of the surrounding noise sensitive activity must not exceed 67.0 dBA.

          

13. Authority be granted to the Head: Environmental Health to sign and issue the

           necessary licence in 6.1 above.
 
 
RESOLVED that the Health Department present the Business Licence process to the Subcouncil at the Activity Day.
