Resolution detail
RESOLVED that having considered the City of Cape Town Traffic Calming Policy and recommendation of the Transport Planning & Network Management Department, Regent Road and Kloof Road are Class 3 Minor Arterials, and in terms of Section 7(1) (c), physical traffic calming measures cannot be used on Class 3 roads to regulate drivers’ speeds. The request for traffic calming is therefore declined.
