The Chairperson introduced the report on Nomination of Two(2) Subcouncil
Members to the Area Local Drug Action Committee (ALDAC) and further
mentioned that the author of the report is Cllr Van de Ross who is a MAYCO
member and further said that the report is self-explanatory and if councillors would
like to engage in the report.
Cllr Adams said that this is a great initiative and the community members would
like this committee and he would also like to be part of the committee and he is
also in the portfolio committee and would like himself and Ald Jacobs to be
considered.
Cllr Nikelo recommended that Cllr Adams and Ald Jacobs be nominated for the
committee as they are already in the related Portfolio Committee. Cllr Moses
seconded.
Ald Jacobs accepted the nomination.
There was unanimous agreement with the resolution.
RESOLVED
That the report on Nomination of TWO (2) Subcouncil members to the Area Local
Drug Action Committee (ALDAC) be NOTED
