Pieter Strumpher was present for the item.
It is recommended by Subcouncil 2 that Remainder Erf 3424 Brackenfell, situated between Old Paarl Road, Eoan Way and Buiten Street, Northpine, in extent 33 384 m², and as indicated as ABCDEFG on plan 130009623 attached as Annexure A, be reserved for the Land and Forward Planning Branch within the Human Settlements Directorate, subject to the following conditions:
a) The subject propert shall be utilized to establish affordable housing;
b) The Human Settlements Directorate takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as
compliance with any legislation related to the utilization of the property;
c) That cognizance be taken of the internal branch comments listed under paragraph 9 below;
d) The said Directorate accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the land and structures
erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable;
and;
e) That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Human Settlements Directorate.
