The Chairperson introduced the report on Library and Information Services:
Quarterly Activity report for period 1 January 2023 to 30 March 2023 and asked
the official to take the meeting through the report.
Cllr Achmat said that the department should also engage males and not only do
the Skills programme with females, males also need to be included, as they also
need skills.
Mrs. Engelbrecht said that most of the libraries had issues with reaching target
audience and they have asked the programme planners to also include males in
their interventions.
Cllr Adams moved that the report be noted. Ald Jacon seconded the proposal.
There was unanimous agreement with the resolution.

That the report on Library and Information Services: Quarterly Activity Report For
period 1 January 2023 to 31 March 2023 be NOTED.
