RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that:
-
the application received for Nu Era Club for a business licence for health and entertainment: Nightclub or Discotheque on erf 20015, 169 Koeberg Road, Brooklyn, BE GRANTED subject to the following standard endrosements for ths category of licence;
-
this business licence must be displayed prominently in a conspicuous place in or on the prmeises so as to be bisible to patron, the public and Council officials at all times.

This business licence is not transferable from person to person or from business to business.

The premises must comply with the requirements of the Tobacco Products Control Act, Act 83 of 1993, at all times.

The Director: City Health reserves the right to call for any other requirements that may be deemed necessary.

The approval of this licence does ot exempt the holder from compliance with any other licences, conditions or statutory requirements.

The premises must comply with the requirement of the Western Cape Noise Control Regulations, P.N.200 of 2013, at all times.
-
The premises must comply with the fire requirements at all times.
-
No Noise outbreak from the building to a public space or street.
-
That all dthe doors and windows be kempt closed whilst loud amplified music is being played inside the club.

Ensure that the self-closing doors are in good working order at all times.

The lobblyvenue doors must be operated and manned by membersof staff to ensure that the venue doors are kept closed and never opened at the same time.

IT is compulsory that only the in-house sound system is to be utilized by the owner, and or all visisting entertainers. Should there be any chalnges made to the sound system, it would render the NIA null and void, and a new NIA would have to be furnished by professional acoustic engineer.

No other audio equipment is to be utilized at all.

The sound limiter is pre-set to 97.4 dBA inside the venue.

Ensure compliance with SANS 10103: and Western Cape Noise Control Regulations, June 2013, at all times.

Council reserves the right to call for additional soundproofing or a Noise Impact Assessment shuld it be deemed necessary at any time in future.

Authority be granted to the Head: Environmental health to sign and issure the necessary licence in (a) above
