It be NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from HOME SUITE HOTEL SEA POINT was considered in terms of sub-delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:

SubCouncil 16 recommends that the application for a Consumption ON Premises Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA23020003, for the business Home Suite Hotel Sea Point be CONDITIONALLY SUPPORTED:

Subject to:
      1. The liquor license only to be till 23:00 and alcohol sales only whilst food is
          available.
      2. The liquor license should not be applicable to the external balcony. This is a
          residential area and consumption of alcohol on the balcony will create a
         negative impact.
      3. Doors leading between the internal and external should remain closed to limit
          noise impact.
