Resolution detail

The Subcouncil Manager introduced the report and made the following comments: A corporate dashboard will be implemented in submitting the service requests report for all 21 Sub councils and this would be the last report we submit. Mr Daniels said that site visits were conducted and a report from Sewer will be tabled in the Activity Day Meeting with detailed information. He also mentioned that the report states the number of notifications received per ward and according to the report ward 40 has the minimum complaints received for a period of three months. Cllr Nikelo said that it is not a true reflection that ward 40 does not have service requests and said that community need to be educated on how to report serviceissues and this must be done via public meetings. Cllr Ngcombolo concurred with Cllr Nikelo that it is a serious concern and need intervention of the subcouncil in educating the community on how to report. Cllr Ngcombolo moved for noting of the report supported by Cllr Cassiem. There was unanimous agreement with the resolution.
