RESOLVED that it be NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from SAVAGE LOUNGE was considered in terms of sub-delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:
SubCouncil 16 recommends that the application for a Consumption ON Premises Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA22060009, for the business Savage Lounge Liquor NOT BE SUPPORTED
Subcouncil cannot support this application for the following reasons

The applicant currently utilizes an Event Liquor Licence (Section 48(4) Event Liquor Licence –E 22050012-Savage Lounge ) which stipulates the hours of operation

SAPS Central has issued a S&# Notice Report to WCLA ,based upon the applicant trading outside of the hours stipulated in that event liquor licence, therefore based on the non- compliance of the applicant on an event licence, cannot support a full liquor licence
