RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND

That the lease of a portion of City land, being a portion of Erf 2609 Durbanville, 13 Tindale Way Durbanville shown hatched and lettered ABCD on the sketch marked Annexure A, in extent approximately 8 m2 , to Rich Rewards Leasing (Pty) Ltd, be approved subject to inter alia the following conditions, that:
 
  1. A City approved rental of R4 500 per month excluding VAT where applicable be payable;
 
  1. The rental will escalate at 6% per annum;
 
  1. The lease will endure for a period of ten years, plus an option to renew, subject
at any time to 2 months’ notice of termination;
 
  1. The proposed lease area to be used for telecommunication infrastructure purposes only;
 
  1. Subject to such further conditions imposed by the acting Director: Property Management in terms of his delegated authority;
 
  1. Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;
 
  1. No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property;
 
  1. All outstanding accounts with the City of Cape Town be settled;
 
  1. No lease agreement will be concluded until the Land Use application and an Electricity supply application being approved.
 
  1. The objections received during the public participation process not be upheld.
