RESOLVED unanimously by Subcouncil 2 that the motion by Ald M  Nieuwoudt be CARRIED

i)  That the Roads and Transport PC be requested to assess and reformulate the current Traffic Calming Policy , nr 45396 as amended in 2016 
     (C26/01/16) so as to include the enforcement of traffic calming
ii) That the policy be amended to included the folloiwng:
 

1. Declaration of demarcated areas as traffic calming areas;
2. That in these areas mentieond in (a), stiop streets intersection and pedestrian crossings be lined with rubber bollards to force vehicles to stop;
3. That a process be developed enabling communities to submit traffic calming plans to Council for approval.
4. The  policy requires developers of group and/or cluster complexes to provide traffic calming at access routes to these housing complexes.
