RESOLVED by Subcouncil 02 that the application for a new liquor license  (Section 36) received from Papa Joe's Pizzeria, Erf: 680, 42 Kruis Road, Protea Heights, Brackenfell for the sale of liquor for ON and  Consumption premises, Reference No:  LLA21090003 NOT BE SUPPORTED  as per the reasons set out below.
 
1. The Emergency Services department does not support the application, as the applicant did not
     submit its Protection Fire Plan to the municipality;
2. A consent use application is required for the sale of alcoholic beverages;
3. Noise Nuisance, unhealthy and unhygienic behaviour is currently taking place on site;
4. The business is situated in a residential areas and close to the abutting neigbours;
5. The business site was originally emarked for a Butchery to render a service to surronding communties;
6. That this  particular site was never intended for a crowdy activity;
7. The business is situated near the Brackenfell station where school pupils pass on a daily basis, therefor it is not conducive for pedestrians
8. The business site is also identified as a hotspot in terms of social anti –
    behaviour;
9. There is a soup kitchen that occurs on a daily basis near the above-mentioned site, and therefor this is not a recommended site for a Section        36, New Liquor   Business site.
