RESOLVED
Subcouncil 24 supports the recommendation that:
It is recommended that a portion of erf 18332 Khayelitsha situated off Baden Powell Drive and Charles Mokoena Crescent, Khayelitsha, in extent 17222m2 and as indicated as ABCD on the Plan ET 798 as annexure A, be reserved for the Solid Waste Management Department, subject to the following conditions:

The subject property shall be utilised for the purposes of a solid waste collections depot only;

The Solid Waste Management Department takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with any related legislation;

The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the land and any structure to be erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable;

That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Solid Waste Management Department.
