RESOLVED
Subcouncil 24 supports the recommendation that:
It is recommended that the lease of portion of public street being a portion of erf 8038 adjacent to erf 8925, New Street, Somerset West shown ABCD on the attached sketch ET 842 marked Annexure A, in extent approximately 286 m2 to Veronica Vera Loraine and Michelle du Toit, the owners of Erf 8935 or their successor in title, BE APPROVED, subject to inter alia the following conditions, that:

A tariff rental of R1 695,65 per annum excluding VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction be payable. Rates not applicable.

The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by Council;

The lease will endure for a period of 10 years, with an option to renew for a further ten years;

The property be used for gardening purposes only;

subject to such further conditions imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;
-
No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property.
