Resolution detail
It is recommended that a portion of erf 10613 Philippi, situated at 49 Dubu Crescent, Philippi, in extent 116.27 m² and as indicated by the figure ABCDEFGHJ on Plan attached as annexure “A”, be reserved for the Transport Planning Department, subject to the following conditions:

The subject property shall only be utilised to extend Dubu Crescent westwards (forming a cul-de-sac arrangement) to provide access to Erven 10663, 10664 and 10613 Philippi in preparation for the implementation and operation of the MyCiti Phase 2A project proposed for Amsterdam Road;

The Transport Planning Department takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with any related legislation;
-
The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the land and any structure to be erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable;
That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Transport Planning Department.
Comments.
Mr Rogers did a presentation and explained to the Subcouncil the technical side of the planning.
Cllr Fikiswa Nkunzana informed the meeting that Dubu Crescent is in her ward; She added that she would go have a look at the street.
Cllr Zoleka Qoba stated that they as the Subcouncil members have no objection with the development, as it is long overdue. |
