For noting by sub council
It is recommended that this report on Social Mobilization be noted and supported by Sub council to:
1. Encourage the option of registration and vaccination as a “one-stop shop” both in fixed sites and in community outreaches
2. Continue to support social mobilization programme coordinated by Khayelitsha Eastern Sub Structure, in partnership with City Health, particularly our pop up sites
3. Inform communities that prioritization according to age is done when the supply of vaccine is limited
4. Request Ward councilors to use their networks to identify groups of elderly and bed-ridden community members to be served with community outreach activities. |
