RECOMMENDED that,

the application for extension of liquor licence trading hours received for reference no WCP/029613 Pick ‘n Pay (Muizenberg) BE REFUSED for:

Monday to Saturday from 18:00 to 20:00, and
Sunday from 11:00 to 18:00 for off-consumption purposes.

For the following reasons:

the close proximity of the licensed premises to the surrounding informal settlement.
Not supported by SAPS.
Not in the interest of public interest
