RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND
                     
Subcouncil 20 supports the recommendation that the lease of City land, being Erf 49334 Cape Town, situated at 27 Canon Street, Newlands, shown hatched on the attached aerial photograph marked Annexure A, in extent approximately ± 933 m², to SANParks be approved subject to inter alia the following Conditions;
 

1. A tariff rental of R966.09 per annum, inclusive of rates, excluding VAT, being R144.91(in total R1 111) be payable;

2. The rental is subject to any increase in terms of rental for leased land as determined from time to time by Council;

3. The lease will endure for a period of three years;

4. The property to be used for operational purposes only;

5. The rental is exclusive of all municipal services i.e water and electricity;

6. Subject to such further Conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

7. Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;

8. No compensation will be payable for any improvements made to the property;

1. The lessee is to ensure that the necessary Land Use permissions, if applicable, are in place for the duration of the lease period.
