RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND

Subcouncil 20 supports the recommendation that the lease portion of Erf 52884 situated on 4 Stanley Road, Claremont, shown hatched on the aerial photograph marked Annexure A, in extent approximately ± 271 m², to U-Turn Ministries be approved, subject to inter alia the following Conditions:

Rental of R966.09 per annum, inclusive of rates, excluding VAT, being R144.91 (in total R1 111) be payable;

Subject to any increase in terms of rental for leased land as determined from, time to time by Council;

The lease will endure for a period of three years;

The property be used for social care purposes only;

The rental be exclusive of all municipal services e.g water and electricity;

Subject to such further Conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;

No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property;

The lessee is to ensure that the necessary Land Use permissions, if applicable, are in place for the duration of the lease period.
