Activity Day Meeting – 6 October 2021
The Chairperson stated that he recalled raising this issue and copied in the Subcouncil as well but that he is not aware of receiving a response around this matter.
Goodman Rorwana responded that the item the Winter Readiness report is on the agenda and covers Cllr Pecks motion and also include the sidewalks becoming an issue where Solid Waste does the cleaning on the roads.
Cllr Peck stated that his motion is requesting a quarterly report because if you look at the streets, sidewalks, weeds growing, drains that are blocked and look at the mess around, that these three Departments are not doing their work. He wants this quarterly report in order to hold the department accountable as they are not doing their work.
The Chairperson stated he noted the issue of the quarterly report and that Cllr Peck want it on a quarterly basis and was agreed to and what Mr Rorwana is saying that the item is on the agenda of which the recommendation would be to ask for the report on a quarterly basis. He will be dealing with the delays at the end of the meeting.
