RESOLVED that the application for extension of liquor trading hours in respect of Stones Observatory, 84 Lower Main Road, Observatory BE REFUSED for the following reasons:

Especially during COVID-19, the extension of the availability of alcohol will result in abuse of alcohol which fuels violence, trauma and reckless behaviour of patrons in the area.

Antisocial behaviour of patrons result in a negative stigma to the area.

Insufficient parking – patrons park, obstructing driveways to private residence and causing disturbance.
