Resolution detail

It is recommended that the lease for a portion of the Erf 110 Scottsdene (a Public Place, situated at Yvonne Street, Scottsdene, as indicated by ABCD on Plan No TA1044v1 and attached as Annexure A, in extent approximately 109m2, to Gerald, Doris, Christina and Lizzie Elizabeth Carelse of their successor-in-title, be approved subject to inter alia the following conditions, that:
 

1.  A tariff of R1 096,52 per annum exclusive of VAT be payable.  Rates not applicable;

 

2. The lease will endure for a period of ten years;

 

3. The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff  structure as approved by Council.

 
      d) The property be used for gardening and security purposes only;
 

      e) Subject to such further condition to be imposed by the Director:  Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

 
      f)   Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;
 
      g) No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property;
 
      h) No buildings or structures of any kind may be erected on the property;
 
      i) Upon termination of the lease, the area must be restored to a condition acceptable to the City of Cape Town.
