That Wolfgat Subcouncil 12 APPROVE to VARY the operating hours for the application for a liquor license received from Dagbreek Liquors, for the extension of trading days and hours – Sunday trading from 12:00 to 18:00 for consumption OFF Premises, Reference No WCP/038369: Dagbreek Liquors, Erf 3557, 1 Avocado Street, Westridge, Mitchells Plain for the reasons set out as follows:

That religious services are occurring before 12:00 on Sundays;

Congregants of the various churches pass by the liquor outlet and therefore the operating time is varied from 12:00 to 18:00;

The location of the liquor outlet is located within a residential area;

That Wolfgat Subcouncil 12 unanimously decided to vary all Sunday trading applications, within a residential area, from 12:00 to 18:00.
