That the Application in terms of Section 6 of the City of Cape Town Liquor Trading Days and Hours By-Law 2010 as Amended for Extension of Liquor Trading Hours: Sunwest International Proprietary Limited t/a Grandwest Casino and Entertainment World, Erf 162686, Jakes Gerwel Drive, Goodwood, Liquor Licence Number: WCP/030120 – Ward 30 BE APPROVED, subject to the Disaster Management Act: Regulations relating to COVID-19 repealed.

Should complaints be received concerning noise and/or unruly behaviour of patrons, these will be investigated and may result in the extended trading hours being withdrawn.

Any complaints received concerning noise and/or unruly behavior of patrons will also be referred to the Western Cape Liquor Authority and may jeopardise the renewal of the liquor license.

This approval is subject to compliance with all relevant City of Cape Town By-Laws and related Legislation.

This application be approved, further, taking into consideration the current health situation, subject to the regulations published in terms of the Disaster Management Act: Regulations relating to COVID-19 repealed, as amended from time to time.
