UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED
 
That the progress report for the period October 2020 to December 2020 in respect of the implementation of projects identified in the Subcouncil and Ward Business Plans for 2020/21 respectively BE NOTED, subject to the following changes being implemented:
 

1. Subcouncil:  To be removed

Traffic Congestion
(2) Formalised Taxi Commuter Drop-Off (To be removed)
 
Motivation:  No longer feasible
 

2. Ward 21:  To be added

Upgrade of various Public Open Spaces (POS) within ward 21

1. Planned upgrade ito dropped kerbs to enable easy accessibility for the disabled – NMT Project - NMT funded

 

3. Ward 103:  To be removed

Goliath Estate
(4) Electrification (to be removed)
 
Motivation:  Private land
 

4. Ward 105:  No change

 
 

5. Ward 112:  To be removed / Added

1. Safety & Security

Expanding Security Camera Project (To be removed)
 
Motivation:  Project Completed – ward funds provided ito maintenance
 

2. Durbanville Sport Complex Development: The following comment to be added:

 
“Letters be drafted to all sport clubs providing progress and guidance, such letters be copied to the Subcouncil Manager, Carin Viljoen for record purposes.”
 

3. Establishment of facility for street people development

To identify a suitable council site for a facility which provides services to street people (To be removed)
 
Motivation:  Lease ito MES finalised
